Wow… two blog posts in the span of two hours… new record for me.
Anyway, while I was reading the Blue Note article at cincinnati.com another headline caught my eye.
The University of Cincinnati is holding it’s annual Sexual Education week. They bring in guest speakers to discuss important sexual education topics.
And, of course, here comes the Catholic Church. Rubbing it’s nose where it doesn’t belong.

Makes me glad I’m an Atheist. What’s wrong with Sexual Education? We, as a society, need to be educated in all walks of life, including sex. Muffling it by saying “sex is bad” is not the right way, in fact, it’s the opposite way. I don’t care of you’re 14 for 40, new information in regards to safe sex and STD’s comes out daily, and that is information everyone needs to know, male or female, old or young.
Therefor, I applaud the University of Cincinnati, as well as Pure Romance, for taking a bold step towards educating as many people as they possibly can about safe sex, sexual transmitted diseases, and unwanted pregnancy.
I don’t hate religion, I just hate when they try to force their values and views onto the general population. Like them damn Jehova’s Witness’. <_<;
Oh, by the way, did I mention this entire program is being paid for by students and Pure Romance sponsorship? So your “This is not how I wanted my tax dollars spent!” argument is useless, go bother someone else.
