Woohoo Politics – Our government is kicking some ass!
Ok, so the title, is sarcasm.
I don’t like posting about politics, but this made me laugh. Earlier on Twitter this message came in from the White House.

… what?
We’re in the middle of war, the biggest debt deficit in United States history, economic crisis, and on the verge of becoming a socialist nation and the President has nothing better to do than to decide whether or not to publicly disclose a list of visitors to the White House from the past 90 – 120 days? Really?
Hey, I got an idea! I could give two shits less about who visited the White House, so… how about we focus on creating a decent Health Care plan that doesn’t resort to Socialistic ideals?
Holy crap… I must be a genius… because that sounds like a brilliant fucking idea.
I’m unemployed, and have no Health Care. That means I have to find the money to pay for my medical bills when they arise. Is that societies fault? No, it’s not. It’s my damn fault. I don’t want handouts from the Government. I want not only myself but future generations to learn that in order to live a decent life you need to be willing to fucking work for it like our ancestors did. Hell, not only our ancestors but our own parents and grandparents!
I don’t know a single person in the world who has worked as hard as my generations parents and grandparents to get to the point where they are today. If it wasn’t for the idea that you had to work to get what you want, I would be an even even bigger piece of shit than I am now!
So, how about we let go of the idea of Socialized Medicine and go back to the idea that we actually have to work to earn Health benefits.
Now, don’t misunderstand, I know that some kind of Government interaction has to be there to prevent the Insurance companies from screwing us over. I’m fully aware of that. But let the government do what it’s supposed to do and make and enforce laws that will prevent these companies from doing so.
Alright, I’m done.
By the way, if I don’t like you, I’ll probably delete your comments cause I just plain don’t care. =) Oh… and Freedom of Speech doesn’t apply on privately owned websites (like this one, genius).
